Water Heater leak causes mold growth

The moldy closet in KY was the result of a slow leaking water heater pipe. Notice in the before photo you can see the mold growth on the wall next to the water heater that is spreading to the floor. Pipes can leak inside the walls and go unnoticed for days or weeks until mold starts to develop due to the humidity. 

SERVPRO of Christian, Todd, Logan and Simpsons Counties was able to get in and take out the drywall in the affected area, sand away the mold on the studs, seal and spray antimicrobial to prevent regrowth and get this customer back to a safe and mold free environment.
